Hello from Room 2,
Thank you to the parents that signed up for Remind 101. I almost met my goal of 100% participation! If you did not get a chance to sign up, please consider doing so. All you have to do is text @misspantal to (860)484-0028. You will be asked to respond with your name so I can see who signed up. After that, you will receive messages from me about field trips, class parties, soccer games, and other events or changes in the schedule. I will not see your cell phone number nor will you see my real number.
Room 2 would like to congratulate Robert for being our Star Student. Robert has really been showing a lot of courage lately by volunteering in class. I am extremely proud of Robert for participating on a daily basis. Congratulations Robert! Not only are you a very kind young man, you are also showing a lot of courage and bravery. Keep up the great work! Room 2 is very proud of you!
Our first field trip to Bushy Hill is quickly approaching. We are going on October 24. If you have not returned the permission slip, please do so soon. Parents are encouraged to come. This is one trip that we do not have a limit to the number of chaperones that are allowed to come. Other trips will be limited due to the policies of the places we will be visiting. Please consider coming. This really is a wonderful experience for your student!
October 23 is Spirit Day. The Student Senate picked Pajama Day. As with our last Pajama Day, if your student chooses to wear slippers, please change into them once you are here.
This Friday, my Lieutenant and I will be doing Fire Safety talks for the third graders. Please ask your student about how they can be safe within their homes. I’d also like to send a huge thank you to Mr. Szymaszek for arranging to have Durham’s engine come so the students could experience a real fire engine.
This Friday is also our first Folder Share. Please come to our room Friday morning to see all of the wonderful things our students have been working on! The Folder Share event starts at 7:30 and ends at 8:30 when school starts.
Thank you for your continued support!
Miss Pantalena
P.S. Our room has been particularly chilly lately and I do not have the ability to regulate the temperature so please consider sending your student to school with a sweatshirt.
