Thank you to the parents that have sent back in the conference slips. So far so good! All of the time slots seem to be working which is awesome! As always though, if you need a different time or date, please let me know. I am more than willing to work with you to find a better time.
Please continue to send in the permission slips for the up coming field trip. Parent chaperones are encouraged to carpool as there is a $3 parking fee. I am incredibly excited to bring the kids to the Peabody Museum. Even though they went in first grade, we are going as third graders who know a lot more about ecosystems and Native Americans. I truly think this will be an amazing educational experience for all!
Next week we have Mrs. Martin coming to visit us. She will lead a lesson about owl pellet dissections! We are studying ecosystems, birds of prey and food webs. This is a fantastic experience for the students to get up close and personal with part of a food web. If you’d like to come help, please email me!
Thank you for all of the Box Tops! We are awaiting the final verdict about who won the whole contest. Either way, I am extremely proud of my class! We brought in a lot of Box Tops! Also thank you for helping the kids fill out Pennies for Patients box! They were collected today so within the next few days, I will know our first collection total. Please continue sending in money to donate. As always, I suggested the kids pick up other chores around the house to earn their donations. Thank you for your continued support.
Room 2 would also like to congratulate Kaylee for being this week’s Star Student! She has been really working extremely hard and has been participating more in class. Congratulations Kaylee, we are very proud of you!
Warmly,
Miss Pantalena
