This Thursday, parents are invited in at 10:30 to listen to our Olympic presentations. Students are required to create a poster and write an opinion paragraph about their sport. Students are also required to present their poster to the class. Students are encouraged to dress as if they are participating in the sport. I hope to see you on Thursday!
Thank you to the parents that signed up to read to the class for Read Across America day. The boys and girls loved having guest readers. In fact, they loved it so much I’d like to extend the invitation to the rest of the year. If you have any time off and you’d like to come in and read, please contact me to set up a time and date.
I sent home conference sign up papers on Thursday. Please check to see if the time and date works and send back the bottom portion. I did my best to give you the same time and date that you had the first round of conferences. Due to personal reasons, I am not able to hold conferences on Tuesday afternoon, which is why some of you got moved to a different date. I tried to keep the same time if you were a parent that was moved from Tuesday to a different day. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Room 2 would like to congratulate Jaden for being Star Student for the second time! Jaden has been working incredibly hard and has been extra respectful and kind lately. He truly is an embodiment of the Core Values. Congratulations Jaden, Room 2 is incredibly, incredibly proud of you and all of your hard work. Keep it up!
Tuesday, March 4 at 10:30 we are dissecting owl pellets with Mrs. Martin to kick off our birds of prey and ecosystem science unit. Parents are welcome to join us to help us learn about what our owl ate. Hope to see you then!
Warmly,
Miss Pantalena
